About Us
Great Hope Golf Course opened in 1995 and was named after one of the famous Skipjack boats that local watermen used primarily for dredging oysters. The golf course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, who also helped design Erin Hills, the site of the 2017 US Open. It is an 18-hole links-style course located in the heart of Somerset County, less than an hour’s drive from the beaches at Ocean City and Chincoteague.
With over 200 acres of wetland and wooded areas, along with 4 different sets of tee boxes, Great Hope GC will challenge the abilities of all skill levels.
