About Us
Great Hope Golf Course opened in 1995 and was named after one of the famous Skipjack boats that local waterman used primarily for dredging oysters . The golf course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan., who also helped design Erin Hills, site of the 2017 US Open. It is a 18 hole links style course located in the heart of Somerset County, less than a hour drive from the beaches at Ocean City and Chincoteague.
With over 200 acres of wetland and wooded areas along with 4 different sets of tee boxes, Great Hope GC will challenge the abilities of all skill levels
