I would be remiss if I didn’t write and let you know what a fine course you have. The place was in excellent shape from tee to green, friendly staff and just a delightful day.

Played on a Sunday and was surprised to get such a great rate prior to 1 p.m. I’ve played the course in excess of 8 times over the last 2 years and was extremely pleased to see the course in such stellar condition. I’ll simply say, “if you can hit your targets, you’ll score well”, for the rest, be ready for a test…
There are a couple holes that play longer than the score card but the par 5, 14th is reachable in two with a 280+ drive (was 5 ft for eagle). Greens quite soft and in great shape. Will for sure come back!!!!

I’ve been a member since 2000 and I can honestly say that the course is in the BEST condition that it has ever been in! Thanks for all you guys are doing for Somerset County

Although I drove over an hour to reach the course, it was worth every miunute of it! The overall course condition was in great shape, I was especially pleased with the greens. They were excellent and true. The course takes on a charm of its own. The entire staff was friendly, and my overall experience was GREAT, and looking forward to returning with friends.

My Dr.told me about the course, so I thought I would give it a try! I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course. Great Hope can very easily compete with any course in Ocean City as far as quality. Overall, I was glad to find this course and plan on playing again in the future.

Played in 3 and a half hours. Course was in great shape as always and the staff had my key for the cart out and ready as I walked in the door. Staff always very friendly and if you have a problem they will fix it. This is where I’ll be playing this summer!!!

this is where I’ll be playing this summer…
I brought a friend yesterday who because of care he had to give his wife was not able to get out all year until yesterday. He had a few issues as you might expect initially by the end of day was playing really well. The course was in really great shape, the greens were great, I think you had them in some tournament placements, which made it fun as well. I really enjoyed the easy sign up on line. I will enjoy it more next time when I know what to expect. I really like the score card also. It was one of the best I have ever seen with the overlapping pages to bring the hole layout before me. The times I got in trouble with my length was when I did not look at the score card close enough and hit driver instead of three wood and ran out of real estate. But at 75 when you are still able to do that it is not the worst thing in the world.

On behalf of everyone involved with our Football Golf Outing on Saturday I want to say Thank You to ALL of the folks there at Great Hope for making the day a wonderful success! The course was in beautiful condition (as it always is); everything was ready and waiting for us and organized to allow us easy access all day.
The comments from each participant I spoke with were 100% positive and could not remember a more enjoyable tournament. You made all aspects of the event from preliminary planning to cleanup…relaxed, professional and friendly.
We look forward to a return visit and I personally am eager to play a few more rounds there as the summer winds down. I know many of the players from Saturday already play Great Hope often, and this experience just reinforces their appreciation for the venue.
