Donnie Price Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

Somerset County Recreation, Parks & Tourism is having its 17th Annual “Golf for Youth” Golf Tournament on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Great Hope Golf Course. All proceeds for this tournament will benefit the youth recreational programs of Somerset County Recreation, Parks & Tourism. The “Golf for Youth” Tournament was renamed for Donnie Price who passed in May of 2014. Donnie Price, a former employee and avid supporter of Somerset Recreation, Parks & Tourism, spent many years working to better the lives of youth in Somerset County through sports and recreational activities. It is in this way that we choose to remember our dear friend and co-worker through giving children the opportunity to participate in our recreational programs.

Time:

8:30am – Check-In (Inside clubhouse)

9:00am – Shot-Gun Start

1:30pm – Lunch Provided: To-go style

Format:

4 person – best ball scramble

Cost:

$75 per person

$45 – Great Hope members & Somerset County Employees

Cost includes: Golf, cart, lunch, 3 mulligan tickets & 6 raffle tickets.

Closest to the pin/Longest Drive Prizes and Door Prizes

Raffle & mulligan tickets will be placed in envelope in your golf bag.

Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at check in as well as 50/50 tickets.
